Lovely Weekends! vol.1

Buenas a todos! Arranca el fin de semana, y con ello os traemos una nueva sección del blog, que esperamos que llevemos con continuidad semana tras semana para haceros los 'findes' un poco más amenos.

Cada semana, AIAM y yo, recopilaremos algunas ideas para contaróslas, así, os recomendaremos otros blogs y descubrimientos, ideas para hacer cuando se tiene tiempo libre, películas que nos hayan gustado en el cine, vídeos o noticias curiosas que hayamos visto alguna vez y hemos guardado en el tintero... 

En fín, una lluvia de nuevas ideas que esperamos os sorprenda.

Os traigo la que para mí, es la webs por excelencia de los DIY. Se trata de HONESTLY,WTF - Supongo que ya muchos la conocereis pero quizás para alguien sea nuevo, se trata de un blog que dedica una sección bastante extendida a los diy, la mayoría fáciles de hacer y realmente originales y curiosos. Os animo a que os déis un paseo por la web y a ver que se os antoja hacer...

Para este finde os propongo adornar nuestras MOLESKINE (aunque valdría cualquier libreta del mismo estilo, claro) para personalizarlas ya no solo por dentro, sino ahora también por fuera (pinchad en la imagen).  Ahora que empieza una nueva vida para algunas (AIAM Y Anne-Charlotte) tendremos que llevar preparadas una de éstas en el bolso para captar cualquier novedad y que no se nos olvide!

I bring you what for me, is the essential site of DIY. This is HONESTLY, WTF - I guess you will know this blog, but perhaps for someone is new, this is a blog that devotes a section to diy, very easy to make and really original and curious. I encourage you to walk through the web and have your own opinion ... 
I propose this weekend to decorate our MOLESKINE (although it would work with any other notebook of the same style, of course) to customize and not only within but also outside now (click on image). Nowadays, that begins a new life for some (AIAM and Anne-Charlotte) we have to be prepared to bring one of these in the bag, to catch any new and do not forget it!

Hace poco más de una semana, la revista ELLE celebraba su 25 cumpleaños y numerosos diseñadores y maquilladores... quisieron formar parte de tal celebración enviando curiosísimas tarjetas de felicitación. Te mostramos como ejemplo la de Carolina Herrera pero... Curiosidad por saber como era la de Roger Vivier, Etro o Diane Von Fustenberg? Pasa dentro y mira...

Para quien no haya visto aún este maravilloso vídeo, os lo dejo aquí porque merece la pena verlo, y luego verlo otra vez y contemplarlo y pararse a observar cada detalle. Look of the day *1* My Uterqüe clutch

Finalmente me armé de valor y por fin os enseño otro look.. Espero que cuando mi vida se "rutinice" un poco será más fácil hacer fotillos e iros mostrando cosas! Es un look bastante low cost y válido para cualquier día, de hecho este mismo look con unas bailarinas queda igual de bien y es un poquito más cómodo. Monté el conjunto en un minuto y con una cosa muy clara: tenía que ponerme mi cartera de Uterqüe. Porque me encanta, pero sobre todo porque me la regaló mi hermana en Junio con una condición supuestamente. Tuve la tentación de ponérmela en verano pero no, aguanté las ganas hasta Septiembre que es cuando realmente cumplí la "condición"! Os imagináis las ganas que tenía!

I finally got the courage to show you another look... I hope that, once there'll be a bit of routine in my life, it'll be easier to take more pics and show you more stuff! It's a very "low cost" look, valid for any day, in fact it looks equally nice with a pair of ballet flats and at least a bit more comfortable. I chose it in one minute and with one thing in mind: I had to wear my Uterqüe clutch. Because I love it, but above all because it's a present from my sister, who gave it to me in June with one supposed "condition". I was tempted to wear it this summer, but I waited till September, when I finally fulfilled her condition. You can imagine how much I was waiting for it!

La chaqueta de borrego / the shearling jacket #inspiration

Uf! Después de un finde ajetreadísimo, los lunes parecen menos terribles! Pero algún ratito saqué para sentarme al ordenador y estuve investigando sobre una chaqueta que ya estaba de moda el año pasado y que realmente creo que es un must have. Aunque cambian de diseño cuando vuelven, realmente es bastante reciclable a pesar del paso de los años: la chaqueta de borrego (o "borreguillo" cariñosamente ;)

After a super busy weekend, Mondays seem a bit less terrible! But I managed to get some free time to sit at the laptop and research a bit about a kind of jacket that was already in last year and that I consider a must have. Even if the design changes every time they're back in, they're still kind of "recyclable" even after years and years: the shearling jacket! 

Lo que más me gusta es que esta chaqueta, como se puede ver en estos ejemplos, admite casi todo tipo de combinaciones, desde leggings y biker boots o pantalones de cuero para conseguir un look más "duro", hasta el encaje, las faldas y los sombreros más femeninos para crear un look perfectamente equilibrado; desde looks más posh de niña bien hasta los looks más rompedores. 

Tiene unas proporciones que pueden ser complicadas pero por eso mismo busqué ejemplos para ver cómo las más estilosas la conjuntan y me han convencido. Es cuestión de jugar con los volúmenes (chaqueta ancha siempre con pantalones pitillo o shorts/faldas!).  

 ¿Y a vosotras os han convencido? ¿Os gusta esta chaqueta o pasáis de ella? ¿Y la versión chaleco de Poppy Delevigne? 

The thing I like the most is that this jacket, as you can see in all these examples, admits all kind of combinations, from leggings and biker boots or leather pants to get a "hard" look, till lace, skirts and feminine hats to get a very balanced look; from "good girl" posh looks till the most innovative outfits.

Maybe its proportions and shape seem a bit complicated, that's why I looked for some examples of the most stylish girls and they convinced me. It's all about playing with volumes (loose jacket always skinny pants or shorts/skirts!). 

And you? Did they convince you too? Do you like this kind of jacket or you prefer not to use it? And about Poppy Delevigne's waistcoat version?

The dress of the week vol.2

Ya se que ésto pertenece a la semana pasada, puesto que se publicó en el Festival de Venecia... Pero se quedó en el tintero, y para mi era pecado. Asi que considero que no importa que no sea de plena actualidad y lo voy a considerar el vestido de la semana.

Se trata de un Valentino con bordados dorados. La botonadura de la espalda es uno de los muchos detalles en el que nos podemos parar a observar. Sin duda el más especial de ellos. Os muestro también el sencillo recogido que eligió para la ocasión y que adornó con dos simples flores. Los zapatos, un gran acierto a juego con el vestido. 

Que haya sido Keira la nueva protagonista de The dress of the week, es mera casualidad.... o no?? Ella se lo merece.

I know this dress belongs to the last week, since it was published in the Venice Film Festival ... But it was in the pipeline, and for me it was a sin. So I think that no matter which is not entirely valid and I will consider it the dress of the week.
This is a Valentino with gold embroidery. The buttoned back is one of many details in which we can stop to watch. No doubt the most special of them. I show also some details of the simple hairstyle she chose for the occasion and decorated with two simple flowers. The shoes, a great asset to match the dress.
Keira has been the new star of The dress of the week, it's just a  coincidence .... or not? She deserves it.

Discovering MONKI

Os traigo esta entrada para daros a conocer una nueva tienda que ha puesto en marcha ya su tienda online, se trata de la marca sueca MONKI. 

La firma se define como un nuevo concepto en ropa femenina para una mujer independiente y con mucha personalidad. Una alternativa que está llena de sueños.

Y no me extraña, aquí os dejo las imágenes que encontramos en su web, en las que a parte de ropa podemos ver escenarios que recuerdan al propio Scher, a Alicia en el país de las Maravillas, o escena de color que parecen cuadros del siglo XX.

Actualmente está presente en Suecia, Dinamarca, Noruega, Finlandia, Países Bajos, Alemania, Helsinki y China, pero ya más al alcance de todos gracias a la web. Solo cotillear un poco su página de inicio merece la pena. Os recomiendo un paseo por... Monki!

I've just added an orange blazer de Romwe for a bit of colour... But if you like this look, I'm sure you'll find so many jackets/sweaters that can complete it, since it's a basic that admits many different options (I think that's why I like it so much!). About the bag... Well, Chanel isn't really affordable, is it? But you can find "copies" everywhere, for example in Blanco this season, they've released some very nice versions of it!

Tan sólo he añadido un blazer naranja de Romwe para darle un poco de color... Pero si te gusta este look, encontrarás muchas chaquetas/jerseys que puedan completarlo, ya que es un básico que admite muchas opciones diferentes (creo que por eso me gusta tanto!). Acerca del bolso... Bueno, Chanel no es muy asequible, verdad? Pero podéis encontrar copias en todas partes, por ejemplo Blanco ha sacado unas versiones muy monas este invierno!

No sabeis que sorpresa ayer, cuando AIAM usuaria bastante experimentada de POLYVORE y con gran éxito en el mismo, descubre que a raiz de un conjunto que ella hizo con un Look of the day, (click en el enlace para verlo en su cuenta) una chica también se ha sentido inspirada por el mismo. Ha creado en base a mis fotos una composición con mucho gusto, añadiendo detalles propios de diseño y variando con proposiciones como esas botas que ya quisiera yo tener... A pesar de que me de bastante vergüenza (reconozco) salir ahí cual 'modelo' me hace mucha ilusión que haya chicas que realmente les sirva de inspiración algo mío, por ello lo comparto con vosotros. ^^

You don't know what a surprise yesterday when AIAM, quite experimented user of POLYVORE and with great success in it, discovers that due to a set she did with a Look of the day, (click on the link to see it in polyvore) a girl has also been inspired by it. She had done a really nice set, adding her own ideas of desing and also these marvelous boots I wish I had... Although I am quite ashamed (I recognize) of being out there like a 'model' I'm very excited to have girls who really inspire something of mine, so that I want to share it with you. ^ ^
